What Are Ghosts?

The term "ghosts" as is used by the majority of people in today's soceity means any spirit within this world. There is some truth in that, however that word can actually be broken down into two distinctly different categories. First I will tell you what a ghost is. A ghost is a form of energy that has both concious and cognitive ability. It has the ability to interact with the surroundings and lifeforms in that enviroment.

There are two types of "ghosts". First, and the most common, are the ghosts of once living things. Mostly people, but some animals. For one reason or another they simply have not crossed into the final plane. The word plane is used to describe the two planes of existance. The first is the living. The second is the afterlife. As this varies from religion to religion, I will not even touch that one. Now, as mentioned before, ghosts are actually energy with a brain. The can think, move, and react to the physical world. Now why don't we see them everywhere, all the time? Simple. As a majority, while we were all growing up, our parents and adult figures taught us to tune out that reality. That is why researchers can see a remarkable difference in that group of people, and those that were raised knowing of ghosts, and are more in tune with that side of the world. However, each of us possess the latent ability to interact with that side. This usually never comes out, unless the ghost wants to be interacted with, or makes his or her presence known. There are exceptions to every rule however.

As a general rule, ghosts are not dangerous. They can move things, speak, and manifest, but generally cannot harm anyone. The reports of a true ghost harming a person are intenseny rare, and I have never encountered one that did. They can scare you, as is common with angry and malovolent ghosts. But most do not intentionally scare you, they will only do things to get your attention, as they may need to communicate with you. When encountering these kind, try not to show fear, and never show agression. They are lost souls who need help to make it where they are heading. If you wish for the ghost to leave, you should never take matters into your own hands. Always seek the assistance of a professional. In the meantime, remain calm.

Now there is the other type. These are the entities of nonhuman and nonanimal spirits. They are known commonly as demons. They very rarely interact with the living, so odds are you will never encounter one. I've only seen one in my entire life, and it did not even have the interest of interacting with me. These kind are considered dangerous though. But again, they are rare. If you should feel that what you are encountering is unmistakeably a demon, then you should immediately contact someone to rid of it. Never attempt this yourself. The implications can be devistating. Even I choose not to deal with them, and will let another group, preferrably one who has a member demonologist, deal with this situation.

Remember, the most important rule is to stay calm. Ghosts are energy. Therefore they thrive off other energy sources. Mostly this is made abundant by M and X Class flares of our sun, and an unstable geomagnetic field around the earth. But this can also be household appliances, and yes, even intense emotions, and fear is the strongest of them all.
