My Decks
The Robin Wood Tarot
Was my first deck bought on December 3rd 2001. Based on the arrival date the deck's personality & Soul card is 9-The Hermit. It's shadow card is 18-The Moon, the same as me.
The Victoria Regina Tarot
I got my grubby little hands on this deck on 5th April 2002. Her Personality & Soul card is
4-The Emperor, Shadow card 13-Death, (which also happens to be my Year Card for 2002 and the card associated with my star sign Scorpio).
On Saturday 22nd of June '02 I got a lovely suprise in the mail. A friend, Guinevra, from Germany sent me a gift package containing 4 tarot decks! I will be adding information about them when I have more time, putting the decks I own together under the title 'The Vault'.
My decks are:
- The Cosmic Tarot - In German. It's about time I got this deck, considering I've built a website dedicated to the artist! The graphics are lovely, though the card stock is a bit flimsy. The company who published it specialised in playing cards. I would love to see a re-print of the deck on stronger card. The Amazon UK link is out of date, you could try Amazon.com instead. Don't forget to visit my Norbert Lösche website for more information on the deck, the artist and his new tarot project amongst other things.
The Cosmic Tarot deck is available to buy in the UK at:
- The Haindl Tarot - In German. I plan to get Rachel Pollack's, 'Haindl Tarot' book soon. She has written several on this deck, and the main deck link is for the book set, which includes a more basic book about the deck as far as I can tell.
- The Gendron Tarot - In English. This deck has a greal little white book, (LWB), with tons of information, including goddesses and animal associations.
- The Simplified Tarot - In English. This deck is a real cutie, I may scan it and print out the pictures to colour in :) This deck isn't listed at Amazon UK.

You may have noticed that a couple of the decks are in German. I don't speak the language, but it's making the decks all the more interesting! :)
As the decks all arrived together, that makes their personality & Soul card (5)V - The Hierophant. The Gendron Tarot little white book says, "She who knows the path and guides the way" - which seems appropriate as Guinevra is a more experienced tarot reader than me.
Latest
My Vampire Tarot deck by Nathalie Hertz arrived 25th July 2002. That makes it's personality 9-The Hermit like me and my Robin Wood deck. I love this deck, so dark, the backs are black and red and the artist calls the Vampires bats. Strength has a lovely black panther on it. More later, I couldn't find the Vampire Tarot on Amazon UK, but I did find Ms Hertz's other deck the
Fantastical Tarot, which is high on my wish list!
