~ Corpse Heads ~

I was fortunate enough to come into posession of 2 old styrofoam wig heads. I decided to make some 'groundbreakers' for my graveyard. Here's the 'before' photo......

I had some of those silly plastic vampire teeth, & some rubbery monster teeth, so we decided to carve out the mouth area for the head's new dentures to fit. I decided to carve out my head's eyes, too.

Kevin went ahead & started layering latex & toilet paper skin on his head, but unfortunately ran out of latex. But here's the work in progress.

She does seem happy with her new look thus far....

Here's the other head, eyes & mouth gouged out, spray painted tan, with bursts of black spray paint at the mouth & eyes. The black paint had an extra effect in that it melted the styrofoam a bit!

I canibalized a pair of plastic vampire teeth & shoved them into the bottom half of the mouth, to go with the Billy-Bob uppers. The bottoms are a little too white in the photo, but the really do blend in rather nicely with the buttery-yellow uppers...
Then I took a black marker & blacked some more detail...

I got a beaded floral pick from a craft store and used 2 brown beads for eyes, and since they were on a stem, they protrude nicely. Some nice gooey blood for her stump..

Finished and in the ground, but maybe I'll add a tattered ear...
