A product could just turn out to be a lemon. Despite the best efforts of all involved, it just can't be made to work.
And sometimes a company is just such a pain in the ass to deal with, you have to throw up your hands and say, "Never again!"
It's a sorry state of affairs, because nobody wins in situations like this.
