The Misfits will always be my all-time favorite band... They were the raw anger that made me love punk. I was probably around 12 years old when I saw this poster in some music store with a gigantic skull and four of the darkest looking men I've ever seen staring from the foreground. Down at the bottom this small logo reading "MisFiTs". I picked up Legacy of Brutality that day, and I have been a die-hard fiend ever since.

(Check out my 10th grade yearbook photo within the "Inside My Head" section.)

One thing that I regret is the fact that I never had a chance to see the original band on stage. Only, Coma, Danzig and Mr. Jim played their first show 5 years before I was even born. Damn. Throughout my researching into the band's history; I've discovered that as I was being born, they were about 3 hours (driving distance) away playing a show. I know that's a rather pointless fact, but I found it amusing. Jerry, Glenn, Doyle and Arthur Googy were raising hell as I was being brought into this world.

Maybe I was born a fiend...
