“The following list – to the best of my knowledge and memory – accurately shows the order in which I filmed all of my amateur 16mm movies. (However, this list does not include This Is Alpha Chi (1963-64), an 8mm color film I made to promote my old DePaul University fraternity; The Climb (ca. 1965), USC student film made with Chris Lewis, starring Bart Andrews; Special Effects (1966), a 16mm documentary about an exhibit at Los Angeles’ Lytton Center of the Visual Arts, with 8mm copies sold through various publications; nor any of the 8mm color “behind the scenes” films I shot while making, or “test” films shot prior to production, of Son of Tor, Spy Smasher vs. the Purple Monster, Jeepers Creepers Car Chase, Wrath of the Sun Demon, Superman vs. the Gorilla Gang and Atom-Man vs. Martian Invaders. Also not included are the many other people’s amateur and student films that I worked on during the 1960s-70s, sometimes as an actor, e.g., (all made at USC), Randy Epstein’s The Pursuit , Rick Mitchell's First Western , Randal Kleiser’s Orgy Beach Party (in which I was a Black Lagoon type monster and also played music) and (with writer John Milius) Basil Poledouris’ Glut , in which I (sort of) played myself.”
