We have some spooky stories for you in this special seasonal issue, with demons, ghosts, vampires, serial killers, and a little bit of strange magic all playing a part. Our Feature Story this month is by Michelle Howarth: The Fatal Puh-lease is an atmospheric chiller, with a young man checking up on an old lady who isn't answering the phone – just what has happened to her? Steven Blake's story tells of the strange behaviour of a phonebox Down on Garrison Lane, and Rosemary for Remembrance by Holly Vance provides a rather different take on the standard vampire story. Fly by Sanford Allen is a mysterious piece of flash fiction about an infectious idea, and last but not at all least, Winning the Lottery by Luke Walker describes the fabled terrors of making a deal with the devil.
We are open to submissions of fiction, articles, reviews or books to review, and cover art. Check our guidelines page for more details. The next issue is our New Year 2009 issue, and we hope you'll visit us then, in the post-Christmas lull, for more dark and stormy fiction!
