Don in his own Wolf Man mask identical to the one owned by Bob Burns and used in "THE ADVENTURES OF THE SPIRIT," the first Wolf Man mask by Don Post Studios, based directly on Lon Chaney's in Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1964 photos). "I was wearing this get-up in 1967, while a member of the Penny Arkade rock band, when Frak -- Monkee Mike Nesmith's attack-trained German shepard -- caught me in his jaws as I leaped into Mike's sunken living room. The wounds healed rather quickly, but the scars lasted a long time!"

In 1964 Don shot an untitled film (in 8mm color) comprising short "vignettes" with him playing the Wolf Man
(in Don Post "custom" mask), Frankenstein Monster, Spy Smasher and Spirit.
