I love dark fantasy and horror RPGs. Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Final Fantasy games are among my favorites. I think what I like most about them isn't just fighting monsters (hey, that's always fun anyway), but that each of these games feature strong female characters. This is something I try to replicate in my writing. It's important for women to be depicted as strong individuals, not just pretty monster bait! The picture above is a tribute to the dark ladies in Final Fantasy: Edda (FF8), Paine (FFX-2) and Lulu (FFX).
