TONY MARSHALL, who co-starred in I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF, was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1935. After finishing high school there, where he received the high school championships for wrestling and boxing, he went to work in Lancaster, where he saved enough money in two years time to fulfill his dream of heading to the west coast, as all during his school years he had wanted to study dramatics. When he arrived in Hollywood, he was accepted into the Twentieth Century-Fox dramatic school and then appeared on television in the Brave Eagle series, Crossroads, and the Twentieth Century-Fox Hour.
He was signed for a top featured part in THE TRUE STORY OF JESSE JAMES, opposite Robert Wagner and Jeffrey Hunter, and then was signed by producer Herman Cohen to co-star in I WAS A TEENAGE WEREWOLF. He also appeared in 1957 in ROCKABILLY BABY. Tony’s top hobbies are riding and fencing (at least when Teenage Werewolf was made), and in both he is considered an expert. The last credit I have for him was in the 1995 TV series Preston Front where he played Diesel.

ROBERT VAUGHN
![]()
ROBERT VAUGHN is a native of New York City. At an early age, he gave no indication of following in the footsteps of his parents, the illustrious actor and actress, Walter and Marsella Vaughn. Following his high school graduation, Robert enrolled in the University of Minnesota, majoring in journalism. As a journalist, he wrote a number of criticisms of locally produced plays. This work aroused his interest in dramatics. He eventually appeared in college presentations of Hamlet, Death Takes A Holiday, and Knickerbocker Holiday. From the University of Minnesota, Bob transferred to Los Angeles State College, from which he graduated in 1956 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in drama. During his college career in the California City, he played the male lead in End As A Man at the Hollywood Players Ring Theatre. This lead to a contract with Hecht-Hill-Lancaster. After serving 2 years in the Army as a drill instructor, he returned to the film capital and many important roles in both motion pictures and TV. He appeared in NO TIME TO BE YOUNG and JESSE JAMES and then in TEENAGE CAVEMAN.
Robert Vaughn went on to star in the TV series Man From U.N.C.L.E. and has appeared in many films, such as a villain in SUPERMAN 3. Today, he can be seen doing TV ads for law firms as well as an occasional acting job.
